1.
Purple twilight sunshine bounces off a sea of green An orange sunset sky meets up and reminds me where we’ve been Gentle and caressing winds relax into a breeze Caressing ever softly as your touch join in a dream
2.
Crazy Days 10:16
A darkened haze of torpid lies Dismiss the waves of human cries Enforced by steel and money Eyes wide shut we take the prize Church of truth on your handheld phone Feed guiding thoughts from distant thrones Words made true while you sit at home Thanks for your money Crazy Days You listen up You know my way There’s nothing more You’ve got to say Crazy Days I got your vote It’s time to play The world will burn And now you’ll pay
3.
4.
The sun won't rise Because you say it should It's no surprise You thought it would You change the game And find someone new to blame Who’s more insane? I called you out and then you came Dark Star Rising Dark Star Rising Dark Star Rising Dark Star Rising Your armies and your generals Distressed by what you say The orders that you give them The wargames they must play The mothers and their children Become your easy prey The weak and the defenceless Made hopeless every day So where are all those willing To make this go away Is this what you the chosen Think of when you pray Break Free Darkness isn’t here to stay Break Free Dont you have something to say Break Free You know that there’s a better way Break Free It's better that you act than pray - [ ] Let’s put an end to darkness
5.
She takes her breath As the sun rise over the sky From black to blue Her skies light up Your waking moments Then comes the rain Relaxing sounds that ease the pain
6.
On the shores of Riace, Down by the Sea Where children once played, No longer to be When quiet walks on winding roads, And sea breeze and the sunshine fade away When your roots are just some ancient words, Elders every day can’t stop to say Lost in a Dream I see children at play Lost in a Dream I hear laughter and say Lost in a Dream All those tanks go away Lost in a Dream All those bombs go away

about

This second album by Midnight Airship is a musical story which narrates some of the emotion felt from world events during the course of its development in the four years leading to its release in November 2020. It was published first in the wake of a historical day, one where darkness gave way to hope, and the chance to dream of better times in years ahead.

Voted in 'Top 10' Soundscapes Favourite Albums for 2020 (Radio Tamworth 106.9 FM UK)
